I know it looks so wrong but thats the only way i could do it.
Given that :
~ ~
AB = DC and AC = DB, write a two column proof to show that:
~
Triangle ABC = triangle DCB
so how you write the two column proof?

You are given that AB = DC and that AC = DB.
You can also see that both triangles share the side BC.
So therefore both triangles have 3 identical sides and so are congruent.
Why did the vector cross the road?
It wanted to be normal.

congruent and that was a good drawing...jbtw...

that was good?

it's really hard to do that kind of thing on a computer! that's why it's so good!

Payari, you could also try to use MS Paint to draw the straight lines.

does the MS paint work with the programming of this site format?

MathsIsFun allows members to upload many different types of images, I believe. Since most MS Paint users use .jpg as their preferred format, then I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be much of a problem using it to design diagrams.
I'll design the diagram Payari has tried to show. If it doesn't come out too good, then I'll see what is an alternative to using MS Paint.

pretty good, but can you pixelate it to make it less unclear by chance? then it would really be good!

Sorry, if I were to pixelate it, it would exceed the image upload limit (which is 100 KB). The image you see above is merely a compressed version - I had to compress it of the uploader wouldn't upload it.

oh--how many kbs is it now?

1.95 KB, which is approximately 2001 bytes.

cool...?
