Could somebody please help me with this word problem? I can't even figure out what it means in words never mind solve it mathematically Here goes.
In some other universe, Mr. Spock believes he has discovered a relationship between a planets distance D from its sun and the time it takes to orbit its sun.
This formuls is T=√(D^3) where t is in earth years and D=1 corresponds to the distance between the earth and our sun or 93,000,000 miles.
A planet named Freya is 32 times farther from its sun, than earth is from our sun. Estimate the nuimber of earth years required for Freya to orbit its sun according to Mr. Spock's formula written with rational exponents. What is his formula?
Does this make sense to anyone? I sure hope so.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi 00jwaj,
"Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense" - Buddha?
"Data! Data! Data!" he cried impatiently. "I can't make bricks without clay."

Thank you so much. Mr. Spock thought that's what it was too. "Live Long and Prosper"
