Can someone give me an example please?
Perpendicular to 3x-2y=6 through (12,2)
Thanks

Hi;
Put the equation into slope form by solving for y:
y = (3/2)x -3
Now you have the slope (3/2) and a point (12,2).
Now you just need a line with slope -(3/2) that intersects 3x-2y=6 and (12,2). Can you finish from here?

Hi 3dhomejoe;
Glad to help!
How about posting what you have, this way I can check it or learn from it. Maybe you have a better method of finishing up than I do. Also others can learn to.
