Kill the bugs?

Hmmm, silly to think that anyone really is at the other end of those email addresses.

Re: Kill the bugs?

Sadly it is a sign of our times.  More and more companies are hiding behind web forms that don't work.  I also get fed up with receiving emails that tell me not to reply.  And then they want you to fill in a customer satisfaction survey which doesn't ask the right questions ggrrrr!

My best example was a well known cross channel ferry company, let's call them B and O.  Their on-line booking form was full of bugs.  I told them and even sent a screen shot of the errors in action.  They didn't want to know; so my last attempt was to tell them that their rival company's website worked fine and I had sailed with them.

Why do you want that?

They have been trying to acquire it along with the rest of the world.

Re: Kill the bugs?

I expect about half of my emails to companies to bounce and half of my voicemails never to be heard. Seems fairly accurate looking back, too. Still, ticks me off. Makes me wonder how so many products get recalled, if you can't even get in touch with these companies.

Re: Kill the bugs?

Typical policy of Walmart. Fill out their forms 5 or 6 times and get no answer.
