Re: Where Do Deleted Characters Go?

Each time you type a character, you are recycling someone's deleted characters.

Re: Where Do Deleted Characters Go?

I think you are on to something, Rexworth.  (Welcome to the forum.)

If you push up the zoom factor you will see that these characters are made up of pixels.  The backspace and delete key act like the human digestive system does with proteins (characters) breaking them down into amino acids (pixels), that can then be re-built into new proteins (characters).

What still puzzles me is the invisible characters like ASCII 32.  Are these the dark matter of the computer universe?  Are they made up of virtual pixels?  Is there a Higgs boson of characters?

And what are pixels made of ?

Good pixels go to heaven. Bad pixels go on to make up the BSoD.

Sounds like a song.

You are becoming more musical by the day.

Re: Where Do Deleted Characters Go?

Oh yes, todays lyrics are so deep that few people in the world can write them.

See you later and have a good night.

Re: Where Do Deleted Characters Go?

Some do have meaning. Most are some silly party songs, though.

Guy next door to me before he turned into a zombie would listen to 10 hours of it per day.
