I've stared high school this year, and I need help with Maths homework- I don't know what half the questions mean, and it's piling up on my bedroom desk like dust! I spend hours trying to work it out, only to fail.
What's algebra? I need some kind soul to explain to me what algebra is A.S.A.P!

What are some of the questions that confuss you?
The algebra ones. Any other questions are fine.
Here's one of them-

Whats the question wants you to do there, is to put it into index notation.
j×j×j = j³
index notation is a short hand as far as you need to be concerned at the moment so that you can write how many times the number is multipled with itself with a single number rather than having to write it all out.
so x² - means you have x times x.
y[sup]5[/sup] means y×y×y×y×y
etc.
