That is where I disagree. I thought that was too highbrow even for me.
People should understand the story of the great Giotto and the mention of how aliens do math. They should see a moral in that.

Maybe you are not making that explicit enough.
I would very much like to sneak up on a few EBE's or reppies and photograph them doing EM. Of course, being telepathic it is very difficult to sneak up on them. Also, Zeti's have hearing that is better than a dogs so they hear you from way off.

That is the point of the long winded post. If the school systems do not teach it how can anyone explain it? Can only bobbym understand it? Can only he use it? I doubt that. What the educational system is overlooking is the simple fact that if a bumpkin can use it to solve tough problems, then anyone can.

I explained that, by saying modern people have no concept of the history of math or its origins and therefore could not grasp it. I reminded them of the lions paw post.

It is not simple. I do disagree with his statement "passionate and talented." Passion ( desire ) drives us. Talent means nothing. Everyone I worked with had the passion. That is all that is needed for success.
